Insulating Firebrick

SDTECH Insulating Brick is manufactured using high-purity refractory clay as the primary raw material, with an operating temperature range of 1,100°C to 1,700°C. Each product grade is designed to meet the requirements of different heat treatment and process conditions, with alumina (Al₂O₃) content increasing progressively in higher-temperature grades. During manufacturing, organic fillers are burned out to form a uniform and precisely controlled pore structure, ensuring excellent insulating performance and consistent product quality.

1. Features
  • Low Thermal Conductivity, Low Density: Low thermal conductivity and low heat capacity deliver excellent insulating performance
  • High Purity, Low Impurity Content: High purity with low iron and alkali content ensures stability even in reducing atmospheres
  • Excellent Heat and Load Resistance: Outstanding thermal stability allows use in thin-wall structures
  • Excellent Refractoriness: High alumina content provides superior refractory performance
  • Superior Machinability: Can be fabricated into a wide range of shapes with minimal joint gaps
2. Applications
  • Inner insulation layer or backup insulation layer for refractory linings
  • Suitable as refractory insulation for various industrial furnaces and heat treatment facilities, such as kilns, heat treatment furnaces, flues, heating devices, regeneration devices, and deterioration furnaces.
